Modding the osX Terminal.app

New frame - as NSPanel
This is my current Terminap.app modification. I just use it for irssi, ssh and minor stuff, showing the actual screen session. Everything else is done in iTerm, which has more options and supports my special fonts. Anyhow: this mod is kewl. It looks like HUD, and therefore it's called HUD NIB.
Problems I did solve
I don't use tabs, because they look really crappy:

Maybe there's a way to define the colors, too. I'll have a look at it. I very much recommend to keep an unmodified Terminal.app for productive use, but to copy the application, if you want, and to apply all changes on the copy.
If you're like me, using old-school screen for multiplexing, or even dvtm... you'll love this mod.
Sticky Windows is a commercial application. But it solves the minimization issue perfectly - I think.
Problems I didn't solve
The well known SIMBL hack Visor will start twice, if you have two Terminal.app applications opened at once. I never use it, therefore I deleted it.
Have fun,
